For online purchases in Ireland, consumers generally have a right to a full refund within 14 days of receiving the goods if they change their mind. This is known as the "cooling-off period".

To exercise this right, the consumer must inform the seller within the 14-day period, and then has a further 14 days to return the item. The seller is generally required to refund the purchase price. the seller does not have to cover the original or the return shipping cost if the purchaser simply has had a change of mind about the piece of art.
